With its crystal clear waters, impressive landscapes and optimal conditions for wind and waves, the Costa Brava is the ideal place for water adventure lovers. Especially the Mar d’Amunt and Cap de Creus areas which offer an idyllic setting for practicing surfskiing and Tramuntana Downwind.
What is Surfski?
A surfski is a light, narrow craft, similar to a kayak, designed specifically for surfing fast on waves. It is a popular choice among open sea lovers as it offers an exciting and challenging experience while maintaining good stability. Surfskis are ideal for downwinds, taking advantage of the wind, waves and currents for smooth and fun navigation.

Tramuntana Downwind is one of the most exciting experiences you can have with a surfski. On the Costa Brava, the wind and sea conditions are perfect for this type of activity, the Tramuntana winds create the ideal conditions for surfing and surfing fun. The Mar d’Amunt and Cap de Creus offer a spectacular environment to explore with your surfski, with impressive cliffs, hidden coves and turquoise waters.
Our surfski fleet consists of several Epic boats . From the most stable boats like the V5 or V7 to the fastest and lightest like the Epic V8 and V10.

- Closed footwear that can get wet (old trainers, crocs, booties, etc.)
- Swimming trunks or trousers that can get wet.
- Thermal T-shirt or lycra that can get wet.
- Spare clothes and towel to change into when we finish the activity.
- If we wear glasses, some kind of strap to hold them so we don’t lose them.
- Sunglasses, sunscreen.
- Surfski
- Life jacket, paddles, windbreaker and wedsuit if needed.
- Guide qualified by the Canoeing Federation and by the Cap de Creus Natural Park with good knowledge of the area.

to promote the lesser known coast of the Empordà and its uniqueness, the Albera Marítima
(Portbou-Colera-Llançà) in a sustainable and conscious way.
