Regular surfski training

Improve your paddling technique and paddle regularly with the surfski.

Come and join our Surfski School, where everyone is welcome, regardless of experience level and age. Our Surfski training sessions are led by a technician qualified by the Catalan Canoe Federation and take place twice a week, offering a perfect opportunity to practice and improve your skills in this exciting sport.

You will learn new techniques to sail and make the most of the variable wind and sea conditions on the Costa Brava. This activity is designed for all sea kayak lovers who want to experience the feeling of freedom while paddling in a safe and fun way through the waters of Cap de Creus.

Surfski is a form of open, narrow and light kayak that is often equipped with a rudder under the hull, controlled from the footrests. We will train with the V5 and V7 models, safe and easy-to-handle kayaks, ideal for all skill levels. For more experienced paddlers, we also offer the option of sailing with fiber V8s, which provide a more challenging and exciting experience. So come and discover all that Surfski has to offer as you push yourself and enjoy the sea adventure with us.

Important information

  • Wednesday 17:00 – 19:00 St Pere Pescador
  • Thursday 17:00 – 18:30 Llançà
  • Saturday 10:00 – 12:00 LLançà
  • Closed footwear that can get wet (old trainers, crocs, booties, etc.)
  • Swimming trunks or trousers that can get wet.
  • Thermal T-shirt or lycra that can get wet.
  • Spare clothes and towel to change into when we finish the activity.
  • If we wear glasses, some kind of strap to hold them so we don’t lose them.
  • Sunglasses, sun cream
  • Coach qualified by the Catalan Canoeing Federation
  • Surfski
  • Life jacket, paddles, windbreaker and wedsuit if needed.
  • Insurance for the activity
  • Adapt the sessions to the weather and the level
  • Mandatory to know how to swim
  • The sessions will take place on the beach at Port de Llançà and at the Nautical Club of Sant Pere Pescador
