Surfski Camp Tarifa
Surfski stage in Tarifa
Stage to enjoy, learn and improve our skills.
This December we go to Tarifa to enjoy the waves, the wind and improve our skills on a surfski. Together with the Surfski Center Tarifa I designed a program adapted for all levels to improve and develop surfing skills with surfski.
We will live a unique experience in the world of Surfski and enjoy an idyllic environment to practice and improve our knowledge and skills about kayaking. A technical stage led by specialist technician Boyan Zlatarev and Jordi Patau.
During the stay in Tarifa we will be able to enjoy different training sessions and “Downwinds” where we will test everything learned during the theoretical sessions.
Surfski Camp Tarifa Program
From the 4th to the 9th of December
Day 4: Arrival in Tarifa, transfer from Malaga to Tarifa, check in at the accommodation
Day 5: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 6: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 7: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 8: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 9: Check out and transfer to Malaga airport
From the 9th to the 13th of December
Day 9: Arrival in Tarifa, transfer from Malaga to Tarifa, check in at the accommodation
Day 10: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 11: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 12: Theory class at the surfski center facilities. Practical class at sea (downwind or closed circuit)
Day 13: Check out and transfer to Malaga airport
Information Surfski Camp Tarifa
- Wet suit / Dry suit
- Neoprene shoes / socks
- Swimming trunks or trousers that can get wet.
- Thermal T-shirt or lycra that can get wet.
- Spare clothes and towel to change into when we finish the activity.
- If we wear glasses, some kind of strap to hold them so we don’t lose them.
- Sunglasses, sun cream
- 3 – 4 Theoretical classes
- 1 Downwind x 3 – 4 days (optional 2nd downwind, +€30 per dw)
- Surfski, life jacket, paddle.
- Safety coverage on the water by boat
- SK Kayak guide/coordinator
- Insurance
- Accommodation
- Transfer, return Málaga – Tarifa – Málaga
- flights to Màlaga
- Meals and drinks
- Activities outside the program
- Experience and knowledge of surfskiing is required
- A minimum physical condition is required for the Surfski Camp
- Mandatory to know how to swim
