Ornitokayak als Aiguamolls is a unique ornithological proposal on the Costa Brava that combines bird watching and kayaking. We will paddle around watching the birds of the Aiguamolls Natural Park with our guides trained with the SEO Birdslife-Iberaves programme and we will arrive at the bay of Roses, the longest bay of the Costa Brava to disembark and look for seabirds in a spectacular place! The Bay of Roses is in the Club of the most beautiful bays in the world! This is an ecotourism experience on the Costa Brava that is part of SEO Birdlife’s Iberaves project to guarantee good practices.
We will leave the Sant Pere Pescador Yacht Club and sail along the final stretch of the Fluvià river, passing by the edge of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Integral Reserve, the Illa de Caramany until we reach the mouth of the river. We will observe and identify the most characteristic bird species of the riverside forest, dune areas and coastline with the help of a series of worksheets.
We will register the bird observations we make on the ornitho.cat portal to collaborate in citizen science. Ideal for groups of friends, couples and families.
